As do I. And everything that I see/hear from coaches leads me to believe that they like BH for the job.

Also during that year, Jennings beat out Rettig and Rivers.

Because he's got talent and he bring something clearly different form Mett to the table. Rivers and Rettig were less talented molds of the Mett variety.

One might legitimately wonder why Miles adds a qualifier when talking about Harris’s talent.

The qualifier is added because he wants healthy competition from both QBs to continue.
If he names one the starter, the other will immediately embrace his "Second String" role, whether he means to or not.

We should have no problem beating Wisconsin, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and A&M with the QB's at hand.

Count me as suspect. See 1/9/12 and the tail end of the 2011 season.

Miles admits that Harris might be "a little more naturally talented" than Jennings, but likes both. #LSU

Writing off a loss before you even see this team take the field eh?
That same Auburn team that LSU beat last year, btw.

You can bookmark this post if you like. Harris will be QB1 before SEC play begins.

1. cam cameron is the OC
2. jefferson and lee are no longer at LSU
3. brandon harris was the #3 QB in the country coming out of high school

"Talent" isn't everything. I put "talent" in quotes because it's not clear to me that Harris is more "talented" at playing QB.

and has a better rapport with the newcomers.
I would assume that an incoming freshman might have better rapport with other incoming freshmen. I wonder who has better rapport with the Sophs, Jrs, and Srs. I also wonder how much "better rapport" with the newcomers matters in being the QB who gives LSU the best chance to win. How much are the newcomers even going to play?

Again, I'm not cheering for either guy. I trust the coaches. Whoever they pick, that's my guy too.

Don't try talking him down. He's convinced AJ has the keys, and will continue to have them until disaster strikes.

On the road. LSU typically plays bad AT Auburn. We've lost 5 of the last 7 games at Auburn. They will want revenge. Chalk that baby up as a loss.

Les is still the head coach. That is all that matters. His recent decision making re: QBs is suspect.

Apparently you have't watched the throwing motion, progression, comfort in the pocket, etc. of both QBs. Bc if you had, it's pretty apparent who is the more "talented" of the two.

Dupre, Quinn and LF are going to play A LOT.
