I think buying them is going to be something down the line. They're rentals to figure what's need on their side to maintain certain levels of bandwidth.

Will be very sad if rent only becomes the permanent option.

You never consider games rentals? Do you ever rent movies? Have you ever rented anything?

Back in the day I'd rent movies, but only sparingly. Most of the time if I wanted something, I bought it. Even movies I only watched once. Just in case I ever decided I wanted to watch it again.

You think this is stupid because you don't want to have to rent a game more than once if you want to play it twice?

I'm saying I would also like an option to just straight up buy it once and not have to keep going back and renting it. I'm sure some people don't care.

You have that option though. It's called the PS Store, GameStop, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.

Are you saying that you think you should be able to purchase it for less since you rented it?

I heard they lowered the prices significantly.

I haven't seen the prices but I have heard it is around $2 for 4 hours, $8 for 30 days and $15 for 90 days.

Seeing as to how I don't have a PS3 anymore, I'm praying last years NCAA game becomes available. Preferably as a purchase instead of a rental.

I'm talking about PS4 backwards compatibility with PS3 and earlier games...

No. Price doesn't matter. I'll pay a full 60 to rent a PS1 game on PS Now if I want to play it. I'd just rather be able to buy it once than rent it multiple times.

I think you're just misunderstanding me. ..

Ah. I see. Yea, we were different wavelengths.

If older games are to be offered, they should definitely offer the ability to purchase them.

Based on the Beta pricing I have seen you won't even come close to paying $60 unless you plan on playing renting the game for a year.

You would rather have a buy option instead of just rent, which is cool. That may be a possibility at some point.

Some people may just want to rent a game for a month and play it once, and based on some of the beta pricing, it would be a lot better deal then buying the game and trading it in later.
