The children of Gaza. Hamas uses child laborers to build their terror tunnels because, “much as in Victorian coal mines, they are prized for their nimble bodies”.
According to Hamas officials, at least 160 children have been killed in the tunnels.

Well it makes sense, the labor force is already at the U.N. schools. The tunnels are right there, bringing two together.

Weapons are only a fraction of the materials that are smuggled through the tunnels which are primarily used to deliver ordinary items such as food and medicine that are denied Gazans due to the blockade. I read a story a while back about Hezbollah which concluded that 5% of its budget was spent on weapons, while the other 95% was spent on the everyday necessities of life. I'm guessing that Hamas' budget breakdown is similar.

What would Gaza have to agree to in order to have the blockade lifted?

I'm not talking about you. There is an extremely vocal minority that is in every Gaza thread hating the Jews. And they believe Hamas is in the right for firing rockets into Israel.

Based on Bibi's own words, there's nothing they can do because he fundamentally doesn't believe in Palestinian sovereignty, it's only a matter of how benign the occupation will be. I suppose if Hamas became a bunch of quislings, he would allow more stuff to come in, but he'll never let them establishment their own port, despite the fact that Hamas would be willing to let the U.S. Navy monitor it.

I've seen the analogy being used with this like say some people from all over the world come to america and kick out out of your houses. What would you do?

My response is they would have never had the chance to kick me out, so no need to launch rockets

I hear you. Hamas doesn't really have any other recourse. But I don't know what they expect in return when the indiscriminately launch missiles into their vastly more powerful neighbor. I truly believe that Hamas is trying to get as many civilians killed as possible to garner international support. It's their only hope.

Good question. Those tunnels are top notch construction; Abbas and everybody had to be aware of them. The UN and our government too. No way they could keep that project secret.

Israel is going to thumb their nose at the complicit UN - the one which allowed missiles in their school and when found, gave them back to Hamas - and the whole World. They are going to totally destroy Hamas, and there will be no sympathetic Egypt to help them regroup.

Let's just hope that the Palestinians have had enough, and decide to drop the 'cause' (destroy Israel from within with a right-of-return vote, or without with a war) and rejoin civilization and prosperity.

The clearly don't care about the people who they have promised to protect and liberate. If they did before all this proper kicked off they would have found places for the people and not kept weapons there. The said hey jews heres a white flag for these areas the rest are for us to fight it out in.

Israel munitions are good but they are not that good when you don't have direct eyes calling in a bomb on a target in an urban environment you see a rocket come from. So of course a building a block or two away might get hit.

Israel as well and they should have dealt with them everytime they saw one.

The UN school that got hit didn't have anything in it and they told the IDF over and over, that one is on the IDF. The rest are random schools not controlled by the UN which are being used by Hamas so thats on Hamas.

Given the climate in Egypt, I really am surprised they have just sat and watched this.
