So...is it 100% that MM will sacrifice himself for the good of the world? Or just 99%?
He might just gets stabbed a bunch of times leaving the audience to think he's dead, but the next scene will be him in a hospital bed.

During the trailer, Michael Caine's character recites the following lines from Dylan Thomas' "Do not go gentle into that good night" -
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Generally, the poem advocates that older individuals shouldn't merely accept death, but should resist its presence for as long as they can. This theme is congruous with what we've seen thus far in Interstellar, with humanity persisting and seeking to prolong its apparent extinction.
At the end of this trailer, McConaughey's character squints and looks out of his ship's window as a dwindling light filters in, and the final scene shows a single planet against a backdrop of glowing, luminous energy. During this scene, McConaughey mumbles, "We'll find a way...we always have."
