This is nothing new for Wisconsin. The program was able to compile a winning percentage of better than 70% throughout the BCS era with an abundance of walk-ons and two- and three-star talent. They'll be competitive in this game.

I have no doubt that with our young QB situation Miles plans to win this game at the line of scrimmage. You guys will be competive, I have no doubt. Miles won't try to do anything cute, which usually means a close fought game. But, our D is going to be off the charts, a much tougher D than you have seen in some time would be my guess. Just ask Johnny Manziel how tough it is to face our crazy fast DE's and LB's. Gordon will get his yards, but our D will make it very tough on him. In the end our talent in the trenches is going to be too much for Wisky to handle and we run away with it in the 4th. Predict a 2 td win..

I suppose it depends how you define "some time." Wisconsin has had a great rivalry with Michigan State over the past few seasons and Pat Narduzzi has pumped out some elite defenses during that time. In 2010, Wisconsin went against the TCU (No. 2) and Ohio State (No. 3) defenses.

But, yes, it is clear that LSU athletes far outweighs Wisconsin's athletes. This is not news on the Wisconsin end, though. More times than not, Wisconsin is outclassed in 'athletes' and 'talent.'
