Holy crap work on your comprehension skills. Uh Verrett in first round, Jarvis in second, and we still have our third rounder.

And ya I can comment on other players... I just have a lot of confidence in Landry, more than others because I've seen his best and know he will be a great nfl wide receiver. Quit trolling.

Verrett in first round

The same Verrett that went at 25, when the Saints' original pick was 27?

What role would Jarvis had played in the Saints offense? What does he bring to the table that we do not already have?

We already have our possession guys in Colston and Graham, but they can actually jump.

We wanted a specific skillset, not a receiver who completely lacks explosiveness. We already have guys who fit the possession receiver role.

So you want us to use our first round pick on a backup? Corners are a dangerous 1st round pick

So you are making an uninformed decision.

No it's your arguments and reasoning that are illogical. You're acting like we gave up something more than we did in your "analysis".

Verret went at 25. If they(and you it seems) wanted him so bad(or even dennard) they would've took him at 20.

They took the player with the most upside and fit for this system. Landry doesn't fit this system like cooks will. Landry doesn't have the seperation we NEED(remember how much that hurt last year?)

This "argument"

I have no problem swapping Landry for cooks if it gets me another first round player and my third rounder back.

Implies you'll get a similar value(which you wouldn't) in a player at 27. Who the frick was left at 27 that warranted a first rounder?

You're also acting like Lee/Landry would be fits for this offense when it's glaring to anyone with a brain they aren't.

They drafted a player that will have an instant impact. What guy in the third would you pick that wouldn't be a project for at least a year or has question marks?

Cooks will make this team better now. I could see your argument if we were rebuilding but that isn't the case.
