I think the difference between the #1 team and #12 is close enough that anyone can win with good in-season management. Should be fun.

Let's start with Romo. He finished 8th last year, but didnt play the final week of the season. Had he played in that game, and hit his average of 22PPG, he would have been the 6th overall QB, & within 11 points of the 3rd place guy. Couple that with Scott Linehan's arrival(like to throw the ball, & deep), as well as 2 good vertical WRs, I think he was great value where i got him.

Shane Vereen, if he comes anywhere close to his pace last year in 8 games, I'd be enamored. 47 catches in 8 games? Let's pretend he played in 16. 90 Catches wouldnt have been out of the question. Let's press the issue a little futher: let's average his stats out over 16 games across the board.

88 carries, 416 yards 2 TDs
94 catches, 845 yards, 6 TDs

That's 268 fantasy points in PPR. He would have finished 6th, or higher than 9 RBs that were taken before him in our draft.

Aflred Morris ran fro 1200 yards in a shitty offense. Healthy RG3, healthy Jordan Reed, new Deasean Jackson to the mix. Even if he just gets to 1200 yards ago with no catches, I'll be happy. Why? read below

I drafted the 2 WRs to lead my team. Marshall is as sure of a thing as there is at WR. He was a 300 point scorer last year, and Julio Jones surely would have hit that clip with the pace he was on. Do his injuries scare me? Yea, a little.

With that being said, only 3 RBs scored over 300 fantasy points last year. And i think I have 2 WR's that can do that for me this year. So my question is, does it matter where the points really come from? If i can hit 300 from 2 WRs, and then 2 RBs in the 8-15 range, isn't that the same as someone that drafts RB's first, then gets their WR's?

I drunkenly took Khiry, but he is one of my favorite players and clearly the best Saints RB. So my hope is they finally give into that.

I didnt like the Cooks pick at first, but over the last few days, hearing the news out of training camp is giving me huge wood.

Witten rebounds, gets 85 balls.

on my bench i have STL & SEA's WR1. We'll see how that works out.

9. Gmoney
Likes: Obviously has QB on lockdown with PFM. Cameron is a budding superstar, and his kicker and DST should be solid.

Dislikes: Not crazy about his starts or depth at WR/RB. Don’t like taking a kicker or DST early, as they are consistently the hardest to predict. Again, this is just me, but I would have looked for quality depth backing up what I consider below avg. RB/WRs, and picked a kicker & defense later (or off the wire).

Overall: A lot could go right here. Lynch & Gore could have a solid season left in them, MJD could revive his career, Edelman could go bonkers in NE. Gmoney will need the majority of this to happen to succeed. Draft grade: C

Yeah I agree. I love my team but it's because I think Luck and Allen will be elite at their positions and I think Tate will break out. There are some good teams. I see no bad teams.

I think GMoney had one of the best drafts.

But I can't FAP to your depth at all, especially at RB.

depth at this point is a crap shoot, with camp just starting.

the picks on my bench were calculated.

Golden Tate can play the roll as a deep threat and catch short passes. I think he's good for 80/1100 and close to double digit TDs. Megatron has never really had a legit option next to him, and Tate was underused in SEA because of that offense.

DET has thrown the ball over the last 3 years, on average, 675 times, Stafford has led the league in attempts 2 of those 3 years. Something has to give. Tate is too talented not to grab 80 balls. Couple that with CJ80 and he wont get much attention on the field

Keep in mind that my teams were ranked as follows the first 2 years in these post-draft rankings:

2012 - ranked 12th - finished as league champs
2013 - ranked 10th - finished as league champs

I kinda agree with the Honk. My projections put your starting lineup at 1766, which is below average.
But I also think guys like Tate and Romo outperform their projections.

Not trying to come off as a know it all or anything, I do all my own projections. I don't really listen to what sites say, because they are generally safe.

All this plugging into a website and getting 90% playoff fagggotry is ridiculous

seems like you're counting on a lot to break right your way. I could see some of that happening, but could also see Vereen getting hurt, Morris regressing, Witten is 32. etc.

a bad draft isn't a death knell but I just dont like this many question marks.

8. DCB
Likes: Charles and Stacy form a steady RB ½ punch. Sankey definitely has flex appeal, although I’m not sure his pass catch pedigree. Solid, steady, deep WR core.
Dislikes: Matty-Ice will have to prove it to me this year. We’ll see how he handles losing his HOF TE. Not sure how much upside he has with this squad.
Overall: DCB will need a few surprises to compete for a title. Overall his team is just a little “meh” for my liking, but if Ryan bounces back and Sankey pops, he could sneak into the playoff conversation. Draft grade: C.

Definitely the earliest "reach" in our draft IMO.

Yes, it was. I was considering Roddy there. Edelman had the 5th most receptions (105) and 10th most targets (151). Like I said before, Gronk coming off a week 14 ACL tear, and Amendola more injury prone than me, Edelman will shine in his 2nd year of Brady's "go to" receiver.

Hey pal. I do my own projections too.

I got Romo at 4800 yrds and 33 TDs.
Tate at 70/1000/7
Vareen at 75 catches; Morris at 1300 yds 8 TDs

i mean injuries can happen to anyone. But I think most of my starters are safe plays.

Morris has a 1600 and 1200 yard season under his belt, and he's supposed to regress in year 3 when the rest of the team is finally healthy, and they've added pieces to the offense?

I mean i don't think i need things to break my way for him to have a good season.

Witten had a down year, but even 73/850/8TDs is great TE production. He caught 110 balls just 2 years ago

and that has me at the bottom? I'll take that from all of them considering they are my secondary players. That's a borderline top 3 QB season from Romo. Morris top 15 RB. Vereen hard to tell without the yardage numbers, but I think only 1 RB caught more than 75 passes last year.
