I don't. It'll be his first visit, so there will definitely be some wow factor. I expect him to take them all.

I could definitely see him committing. I'd bet $10 that Ben will be there as well.

Nope, Thomas was on campus last year during the Arkansas game. I'm really starting to think we're gonna land him.

Prince Ali committed to UCLA today. He was one of Louisville's top targets at SG along with Antonio Blakeney and Perry Dozier. Some rumors that Louisville backed off because they have a scoring guard already in Devin Mitchell and have also backed off of Antonio so they can go all in on Dozier. Blakeney, Mitchell, and Ali are all very similar in that they're score first guards, while Dozier is more like Dante Exum in that he looks to pass first.
Either way, I still feel really good about Antonio.

247 shows that Ali committed to UCLA ,which was supposed to be the main competition for Brandon Sampson. With Louisville getting Mitchell and UCLA getting Ali ,lsu should be in great shape with Sampson and Blakeney.Hopefully they get both.

And Owens is now gone. We're now in a real bad spot if Thomas goes elsewhere.

We could probably get him back if we wanted to. Not worried about going up against UCF.

But wow on Dickerson, this came out of fricking no where. He had got a few CB's to Florida over the last few days, but I didn't think anything of it. Damn. I kinda hope we go after D'jery Baptiste now. Dude is an animal.

But this might help us with Thomas too. Tell him he's the only big man we'll take. I'm thinking we need another wing anyway. Evans or McVeigh could be really solid at the 3.

Do you think the recent interest in Elijah Thomas scared Dickerson off?

I don't think so. In the article I read it sounded like Florida told Noah he'd be the only big man they'd take, which we wouldn't promise him. He still goes to the same high school as Ben though, and we know he won't stop recruiting him for us.

Hopefully this will help with Elijah Thomas. It's hard to get players to leave the state especially when they have a top 5 team in state recruiting him. No hard feelings cause I really think it's gone help us in the long run. Seeing Elijah around Shaq lately gives me a good feeling. We really don't have room for two elite bigs next year with Robinson epps Darcy and possibly Simmons and possibly Mickey and/or Martin.
Thomas Sampson blackeny Simmons which is our best class in a long time. You get a pg sg PF/SF and PF/C

My point exactly if they promised he was the only big they would take ,then it sounds like he was concerned about competition.Thats why i asked did Thomas scare him off.

I don't think he was scared as much as he wanted that guarantee. I still wouldn't write him off completely though. Ben is going to work him even harder.
