Rumor is that Spike might be interested in buying TNA. Their main problem right now seems to be Vince Russo. If Dixie fired him they'd probably still have a tv contract. If she ends up selling to Spike he's definitely gone.
Spike has been wanting to buy TNA, and yeah the big deal was that Dixie hired Russo, after spike told her not to, and she hid it from them.. then Russo let it leak somehow and they found out.

From Reddit:
The best way for TNA to go out..
They've got nothing to lose if they do actually wind up going out of business. Just film the last shows in the Impact Zone and say that Robbie E caught something in some remote Asian country while on the Amazing Race. Slowly, episode by episode, the crowd dwindles until the last couple shows host empty arenas. The virus slowly spreads and the "season" closes with Dixie, EC3, and Rockstar Spud in the middle of the ring with weapons trying to stave off the rest of the roster from entering the ring, Spud goes down, EC3 pushes Dixie into zombies to bide some time for himself, then just as he's about to become infected...fade to black...
...then Vince Mcmahon wakes up in bed and goes, "Ugh, I just had a nightmare." Then Vince Russo rolls over and they both laugh maniacally.

Harper is going to be 35 this year. 35, 36, 37, 38 isn't that old in the wrestling business. Granted Roode does have a lot of miles on him, but WWE only offers 1, 3, and 5 year deals now. No harm in throwing the guy a 3-year deal when he's still at a good place in his career.

Austin Aires could be king of the mid-card and a great IC champ if WWE knew what the frick that were doing

Mark Henry?

The WWE would figure they'd have to spend some time fine tuning any TNA'er so add a year at least for all for re-packaging, NXT, etc. At least with Harper they've already invested the time so now everything is performance.

I feel like Mark Henry is too big for the new nation (no pun intended).

do you think the Wolves could be a fun, high-flying tag team in WWE? I'd like to see them get a chance
Posted on 7/28/14 at 6:12 pm to rt3
They had a chance three months ago. Couldn't cut it
