How is it any different than an early Friday afternoon game in Little Rock? You had to be away from home on Thanksgiving and travel to get to the game for Friday.

College Station is a better trip. There will be more fans there than there were for Arkansas games.

It's a little different because it's the day after rather than the day of. Also, good luck finding any LSU fans not living in and around Little Rock that liked the Black Friday game. Everyone HATED it.

Ark must be miserable. I made the trip to CS for the last game, and that place was brutal.

That was lousy too and as much as the SEC and LSU wanted LSU-Ark to be a rivalry, i think always playing it Thanksgiving weekend hurt the series because FEWER (not none) fans from both schools would go to the away game hurt that. It is not the same as and in state rivalry like the other big SEC games. I think this will hurt the effort to turn this into a big rivalry as well. I know a lot of people that travel over Thanksgiving because the kids are out of school. I'm sure a good number of LSU fans will go this year especially with the novelty of playing on Thanksgiving, but i don't think it will be as good of a crowd because of the holiday.
