when Verizon started killing off unlimited data, I was using about 2.5 gb a month. I held on to unlimited though because I know how technology progresses and because of that, I'd eventually find some use for the unlimited data.

Now I'm using between 12-15 gb a month, mostly from streaming video while I'm at the gym. About 90% of that data is my twitch.tv app.

Man that's a ton. But yeah, if you stream a lot of video then that makes sense. I think you're lucky in the sense that the throttling hasn't made video unwatchable.

Yeah, see I can understand throttling your data usage if you're doing this at 5pm on a Friday when everybody and their grandma is trying to make a call and the network is clogged.

There's no reason for you to be able to get your favorite TV show at the gym and I can't make a call.
