Gerry is the real deal.
His latest thing is psychodrama, which is odd but effective.
Some Louisiana lawyers feel his techniques don't transfer well here because his methods are geared toward obtaining large punitive damages awards. Punitives are rarely available under Louisiana law.
By all accounts, it is an intense experience.

Were you trolling last night? And how did you not get banned? I could give a big rat's behind about your orientation or anyone else's, but you were bordering on dickish.
Anyway, I have not been to Spence's ranch, but the LAJ puts on a very light version of it every December, and many of the speakers are graduates (including Gerry's son). There's a guy named Low who teaches for Spence there and does his thing at the LAJ event. He's a Marine and quite interesting. Out of Long Beach IIRC.
