Because slap dick students keep adding stupid chants in an attempt to feel special about themselves. Nobody else gives a damn. I only care about the chants that gave withstood the test of time. That's tradition. 1st down and 4th down.

It's not about sitting on our arse or being Debbie downer. It's that any guy who participates in the "woo" chant has immediately passed the gay test.

Before we complain too much about the students, I recall what we yelled at the Florida State fans 30 years ago when their band played their chomping song...."F$@× the Seminoles, F&$÷ the Seminoles," while giving the up yours arm sign...lol

Those are the lyrics to neck. The students say, and not just the students, suck that tiger dick bitch instead. So instead if banning it, if the rest if the crowd shouted something else it would drown them out. I don't really care, neck isn't a tradition and didn't even start til my Sr year, maybe after. I don't mind the other chants, but if any of them aren't that old, the older people in the stadium won't know them anyway.

The most annoying for me is the drum chant for 3rd down when we're on defense. By the time everyone is done doing that stupid clap the other team is already lined up and running their third down play. 3rd down=yell

I'm a man. I'm 47. Let me explain to you how life works.
When you are young, we provide you with your own section to act like a jack wagon and do the woo chant. If it is cool enough to grab our attention, we will adopt it and it will eventually become tradition, and the next group of jack wagons will deride you for being an old fogey, sitting on your hands, etc, etc.
invent something awesome and you wont need to coerce everyone into joining in.
