re: Personally, why do you hate the Jews?

I wrote a paper on anti-Antisemitism in Europe when I was in undergrad. There is a long history of it and I wish I still had the paper, but here are a few reasons not listed in this thread as to why Jews are hated in Europe.

* People felt that the Jews were arrogant. Calling yourself "chosen people" gives off the idea that Jews believe that they are superior beings and should not be concerned with the well being of gentiles.

* They believe that they cannot trust Jews as a fellow countryman because of the LAW OF RETURN and other Israeli benefits for being Jewish. Essentially, people view Jews as foreigners within their own country and treated them as such.

* The banking one has been hit on already in this thread so I'll pass at that. But the financial crisis certainly didn't help the image of Jews though.

*A great deal of the general hate towards Jews comes from elites. They see a Jewish politician/leader/rich guy doing stuff they don't like and will attribute all Jews for the actions. I guess it would be comparable seeing Feinstein/Bloomberg/Schumer's efforts to implement gun control and blaming/hating Jews because of it.

Stuff like LINK just adds fuel to the fire of anti-Antisemitism right now.

In the northern part of our state the Protestants hated Catholics as well as Jews. The new evangelical support of Israel is odd coming from the same people who when I was in grade school allowed our Catholic school to compete just not the black ones. That school is still in Shreveport but has since become more tolerant.

Funny how people who supposedly love all people hate everybody who doesn't believe what they believe or accept their God.

In all seriousness, I have legitimate beefs, and my disappointment with Israel, communist shite starters, bogus professions and two bitches from Tulane is 100% genuine, but "real white people? " Come on, man.

There is a spiritual reason for the hatred and Israel's prominence for such a small country.

Thank you. You just paraphrased everything I've been saying. Basically, there are a lot of Jews I don't like, and the only part of being Jewish that this encompasses is the ethnocentric hatred of everything non Jewish which some of the mentioned people genuinely possess. In addition, there are others I don't like, but being Jewish has nothing to do with it.

When I originally said "white people," that was just the only way I had to denote my race/ethnicity/culture. Even trying to be super specific by saying something like European Christian wasp doesn't cover it. Of course I know that many Jews are white, but so are many Christians, Muslims, etc. I thought people would generally understand what I meant when I said that. For all of the idiots who still think I was serious about "real white people, again, that was a joke.

Sorry for the mixup. I confess. I'm anti-semantic.
