I'm trying to find a job in DC or Arlington. I'm holding out hope but I don't know what level of career you have to be to get Relocation paid for

The housing in DC for a one bedroom is like $2K a month. A bit insane.

damn, that is crazy...

need to put the whole arithmetic problem together to see what this is really gonna cost you...that is, tuition + lost wages (and benefits) + difference in cost of living....

I'm betting that you are looking at a swing of a couple of hundred thousand dollars, which is gonna take a pretty good boost in earnings to make up, particularly if you are not really young...
