Robert would kill him, his lover, all of his children, and probably also kill his brother and declare war on his father. Thousands would die if Bran reported the information he did, while only one would if it looked like he died from an accident. You would have done the exact same thing in his scenario.
I have a hard time buying that Jamie was "thinking about the realm". Also, he wasn't exactly broken up about the fact that he just murdered/maimed an innocent kid.

Why? He would instinctly know that Robert would kill them all and Tywin would retaliate with war. Sure his family came first, but Jaime knew if Robert found out about the affair that war was a certainty.

The kid in his mind was nosey and it was either him or the kid. Jaime doesn't ever really regret his actions, aside from not protecting Rhaegar's children from his father and one other thing that has not been mentioned yet.

There's the whole attempting to kill a 12 year old boy thing, but other than that he's a super guy.
I wish he did kill Bran....he could've save us 4 seasons of boring arse scenes about Bran

Bran does suck pretty hard.

The only good bran scenes are the ones where he gets his hopes up about being able to walk again and someone instantly shuts him down

Well, pushing Bran out of the Window may have been expident. But that doesn't mean he wasn't a bad person for doing it. Heck, the danger to himself, Cersi, the kids and (purportedly) the realm, didn't stop him from shagging her every chance he got so I guess those things weren't even that important to him.
Besides, I'm pretty sure he was smirking when he did it.
Yeah. He was bad at the beginning of the show. He's on a nice redemptin arc now though.

Moral ambiguity.
Cut and dry good versus evil, black and white stuff is why so many comic book characters suck.
Superman is shite. A garbage, one dimensional deus ex machina who should have been left in the twinkle-toed CCA era where he belonged.

Everything in this thread happened in the show.

He's a good guy that did bad things in my view.
He's blindly in love with Cercei, so anything shitty that he does, has to do with her.

Mad Men cannot get enough praise for this. Minor Spoiler:
-I literally hated Betty for spying on Don and figuring him out. Here is a guy that routinely cheats on his wife, alienates his family, and is a dog. Yet I'm pissed at his wife for finding out.

Sons of Anarchy. Pretty much the entire cast. If it was happening in your town you'd be in the streets with pitchforks. But somehow you get pulled in to root for the biker gang to eek out their next drug deal or gun running mission.

That's not even the worst thing Ramsay has done in his life, not even close.

Never thought of it like that. I guess the bring you into their personal lives so you can identify with them so you want them to be successful even if you see them have to murder someone in the process.
