re: Solved the smoke issue when searing meat

My mom used a similar thing to cook bacon, except she'd do it on the porch. We lived in the sticks, so my school bus stop was 1/5 mile from our house. I swear there were days when the wind would be just right that I'd catch a whiff of it about halfway home and get excited. I loved BLT nights.
