Those players would not have done shite.

But that confirms the bias. It has nothing to do with morality.

It's about the almighty dollar. Players and coaches were planning to boycott if nothing was done. This was going on while the NBA was experiencing their 2nd highest rated First round in their history.

I'm still unsure what point you are trying to make though. Adam Silver mad the best decision for what he felt was appropriate at the time and fell within the owner's constitution. Plus the 29 other owners had to agree on the ban as well.

Adam Silver wasn't the commissioner during Sprewell or the Malice at the Palace, so we have no idea how he would have handled those situations.
