we appear to be moving to a quick strike offense with better athletes and schemes than the majority of our opponents.

Eh. We've pretty much always had better athletes than most of our opponents. That hasn't changed.

Ball control, minimize mistakes,

We will still be about this. Especially this year.

We were definitely a fantastic offense last year, but look at the players we had. Hopefully this will continue for the foreseeable future with the talent we have locked in on that side of the ball.

Ya know, we all know that Les is cognizant of the fact that we generally have better size/athleticism/depth than our opponents; hence, smash-mouth football is the better option for us whereas to minimize mistakes and not 'mess it up'.

But we must beat one particular school each year that we do not have an advantage in the 'ole size/athleticism/depth department.

This school stands in our way, annually, of us attaining our goals.

This being said, it makes sense for us to play a different type of game when playing against Alabama.

If a team simply plays differently for a game they generally don't do well because it isn't what they are experienced at.

So sometimes we have to practice something other than smash-mouth football. Theoretically, we may even risk some games developing our passing game so not to roll in to Ala. with nothing but....well lets just say too simple of a plan

This past year was a shame cause I feel our offense, especially the passing game, was more lethal. (if we don't fumble on the goal I think we win)

Going forward, what wrinkles to the traditional approach do yal see us doing to prepare to beat alabama?

Our coach is pretty damn good at this. For Saban must sit around wondering "what the hell is this guy thinkng?" when preparing to play us.

Saban can probably figure out what every other coach would do in a game; then watch film and see us do something like.....go for it on the last play of the Auburn game when a field-goal would have won as well.

so....besides perplexing the hell out of saban; what style of play do yal see us going with?
