I'd have to hear the other side of the story.

What I've learned over the years, when you hear shocking stories like this, what really happened isn't exactly like the story says it happened.

I used to agree with this ENTIRELY ... and then life happened to someone in my family and we started to see camera phone videos. Government abuse of power exists and until it happens to you or someone you know well, it is tempting to think that the victim did something wrong. That MAY be true, but it's not always the case. Far from it.

Unfortunately, more and more stories that you'd find hard to believe are turning out to be true.

Not sure which crossing this was, but coming back into Ak at the White Pass a few years ago, the border Patrol agent was a massive a-hole. Said would hold us up as long as he possibly could because we had the never to ask why it was taking so long to clear three of us. He just got off on that power.
