Sort of. Adult men tend to buy the trade paperbacks and compendiums, not the cheap monthly books. There still, of course, are lifetime comic buyers who still get every issue, but those monthlies are aimed at hooking teenage boys. They sell adults the books of multiple issues, gathered in one edition. Or, if they are selling them a monthly to adults, it's the prestige titles that aren't as superhero-y. DC are master at this. (And they still put Sin City in trade paperback -- and that mammoth hardback they now have which weighs about 300 pounds)

Actually, comic sales are booming on the electronic market now. I buy mine through Comixology on my iPad.
