They aren't all demeaning and it isn't as if they haven't tried over the years.
Most of the famous female superheroes aren't supported by the female audience.
Batgirl
Batwoman
Wonder Woman
Black Widow
Huntress
Capt. Marvel
Miss Marvel
Catwoman
Psylocke
Sara Pezzini
Elektra
Supergirl
Raven
And the list goes on and on. I highly doubt female comic fans keep those series going.
Female superheroes are there and more popular than ever. They try to give them their own series runs, but if people don't buy them, they are gonna cancel them.
Don't get me wrong, some of my favorite comic leads are female, but it is dumb to say they haven't been trying to reach out to females for years.
I would like to see more female superhero movies. Give me WW, Psylocke, Batwoman, etc., movie done right.
