Maybe chicks should start buying comics. They'd have a reason to put in more females.
And they are getting a female Thor. That should keep them happy for the next 10 years.

Maybe they would buy more comics if not every depiction of women in comics was so demeaning and insulting. As long as there is a need for the Hawkeye Initiative, then the blame for not enough female readership is on the comics industry. It's not like there are a lot of girls or anything. Why would you want to market to that audience?
