Finally a subject I can speak on intelligently. No... Really.
I recently had a total replacement under insurance due to storm damage. First dude that showed up quoted some enormous number and told me all kinds of reasons for blah, blah, blah. My BS Meter alerted and I got a second estimate. Guy showed up, replaced the entire roof, hauled everything away and charged me LESS than his original estimate.
Trust me, get another estimate. Point being, they can and will do it for what insurance pays.
