Dude you are paying 270.00 dollars a sq. I don't roof anymore but that seems like a bit much. Do you know the pitch of your roof? The old roof has to be torn off. I would do it a lot cheaper than that if I still did such things also you have to pay to dispose of shingles nowadays. You can't just throw them in the woods.

A tear off and install is $235 on the cheap side these days. Insurance on roofing is ridiculous and materials have gone way up. 3 tabs cost as much as architectural used to cost just 5-6 years ag
No more finding someone to do it for $185 unless you want someone you can't find when you have issues down the road.
