Big props to Mills for making it where he has. I never knew that he not only was "just a 2 star" but we were also his best offer. He'll currently be entering his third year as a versatile DB who can play safety and cornerback. I've enjoyed his play since his freshmen year. I hope he can continue his success and make him some money.

You are exaggerating on a lot of this. Mills was a consensus 3 star. Beckham was a consensus 4 star. It's as if you went with the lowest rankings for all those players instead of the actual perception.

Lacoture and Welter were also 4 stars, I believe.

247 would be a good barometer for most of these players as they have their own rating system as well as a composite. Rashard Robinson, for example, was given four stars in 247s composite.
Edit: Personally, I hate the star ratings. So many players outplay their star ratings and position rankings. A 5-star for Wisconsin is very rare. We'll usually land a two, three, or four 4-stars in a single class, but most of the class is littered with 2- and 3-star products.

LSU shouldnt recruit 2 star players unless its a deep snapper or some shite. with that being said Mills wasn't a 2 star player.
