Hate to jump in here and ruin everyone's win, but I think they are getting some ad space back, not the whole thing in the NEZ.

The info I got wasn't confirmed from sports properties, so I can't say that it's 100%, but my understanding was a portion of the LED ad space in the past is being given back by one sponsor, not all of them.

On a separate note, the lego bricks up top are not a finalized project. They are concessions and restrooms, but there are plans to address their aesthetics in the future. Nunez told me they will use the stadium this year as is, see how it works and then address further if needed.

I enjoy reading everyone's opinions, and apparently so does LSU Ath. Admin. It's a really cool feel to the stadium, completely different from just last season, I can't wait to see what it sounds like come GameDay.

You get any scoop on anything else in the works (other than tennis facility)?

Sports2, thanks for the info.

Is there an agreement that each video screen must display sponsors? We had 2 video boards with ads, then for 1 season only 1 board, now we have 3 video screens. It appears there will be 4 ads on each of the new video boards, plus the NEZ board will have only less sponsor?

Seems like we are adding advertising space with the new boards and not eliminating some.

Hide those blocks with an arch facade and boom, problem solved.

Thats good to hear. I think the lack of planning by LSU for cohesion is the issue many have with the expansion. I'm hoping they have the entire SEZ facade the stucco finish. So far its just the cross beams for the windows and the top for the arches.

This question isn't necessarily pointed at you but what's the reasoning for not addressing their aesthetics as construction is actively happening. I mean, they put a facade on the two on the ends. I cant imagine its that much of an undertaking to match the others.

So unless Coca-Cola gave back their ad space we won't notice a big difference... Sounds like people are getting overly excited for nothing.
