The downtown scene really went downhill once Punchers and The Office ceased to exist. Now only B&Ts is worth going to get my swerve on.

Depends on what you are looking for.

Live music?
Walking distance?
Shoulder to shoulder?

I went ot the Texas Club for the first time this past weekend and I'll be honest, if that bar were moved to Tigerland just as it is, it would immediately jump to #1 bar in BR.

Pussy and not shoulder to shoulder.

I know those go hand in hand though.

Too old to be in a place like Bogies or and Tigerland bars anymore. Kids annoy me after a few drinks.

Walk On's but it gets slammed.
I would say downtown after a game is your best bet.

I would say come by Phil's for good music, but it's cougar city in there. Home games usually leave our crowds light also.

Doing the same line dance 50 times over in order to buy drinks for 19 year olds with 3 kids just isn't my thing

Big bar area, large dance floor, great stage for live music, second story with balcony... Those are all things that would attract college students. The only problem with that bar is the crowd. If that setup is in Tigerland area, the proper clientele would come.
