92, 1430, 14 td in the greatest passing season of all time. You expect that to happen again? J. Thomas, Ball, Welker, Sanders, Latimer all pushing for targets. I would take 92, 1430, 14 in a heartbeat but you've got to think that's his ceiling. Cowboys will throw it all over this year (more than usual) with Linehan now the O.C. I believe Dez will get considerably more targets (20+) than DT and will play half of his games in a dome rather than fantasy playoff time in the snow in Denver. Dez Bryant was also tackled inside the 5 yard line seven times last year. Seven. Take that for what it's worth. Foolishly laugh at me if you want, but I'm not basing my opinion on "Manning brah, duh". I also believe Julio Jones will have a better season than DT88. Dont get me wrong, I want him on my team, but if Julio and Dez are both Tier2 WR's, the DT88 is as well, despite what ESPN tells you.

85/1100/9 TDs 2 years ago.

Would have put him 15th in WR scoring last year in PPR.

With Kaepernick in 8 games : 46/665/6TDs.

multiply that by 2, and its 92/1330/12Tds over a 16 game schedule with Kaep

That sounds logical. You very well could be right. Tedd Ginn and Kyle Williams arent exactly at the same level as Anquan Boldin (even this version) and Stevie Johnson.

he had the exact same numbers the year before too, Peyton threw 18 less TDs and about 800 less yards.

seems like this is the 3rd or fourth season in a row that people expect torrey to break out. I think he's just a guy

Then this has got to be his ceiling right? Peyton throws for 800 more yards and DT88's numbers dont jump up drastically, rather they stay the same? How is that so?

reminds me a lot of Pierre Garcon. Who was talked about the same way, and ended up catching 113 balls last year.

I guess if you want to call it a "ceiling". It's top notch WR's numbers 2 years in a row.

Ceiling kind of has a negative connotation. Like "that is all he can do?".... Well yea.

I don't think Manning repeats what he did last year either. But it's pretty clear they will throw the ball a lot, and DT88 has proven to be the favorite target there.

He had over 1,100 yards last year and was in the 900 yards tier. Not saying he's going to "break out" but 1100 yards is pretty solid. He's never going to be a guy who stacks up tons of TDs.

I suppose, but I've always liked garcon's talent and if healthy 2012 would have probably been his true breakout season, you saw his potential as a #1 WR. Torrey has now had 2 seasons under his belt as Baltimore's #1 and hasn't exactly set the world on fire

I just don't think much of torrey I guess

kind of an odd looking bunch by themselves there in the 4th tier. Not questioning them specifically though.

Sanders and Welker in the 5th tier is weird looking too. I guess since Welker is getting up there in age we'll just have to get use to it. Plus if he gets his bell rung and has to miss more games Sanders absolutely gets more credibility. I still think he's too high here though. Assuming Welker can stay healthy anyway.

I'm not saying he sucks, it just seems like a few years in a row you've had people go all in on him. Sure as hell wouldn't want him as my WR2

Yup. I believe everything you are saying. My original critique was on the OP's Tiers and having DT88 in Tier 1 (with Calvin mind you) and not including Dez and Julio. If anything it should be

Tier 1 -
Calvin

Tier 2 -
Dez
Julio
DT
etc...

Blackmon and Gordon really could have helped WR be incredibly deep this year

Oh yes. I would love him as my WR3, though. I'd also rather him than TY Hilton who has an earlier ADP.

Balt was a mess last year. I don't totally buy him but I think he can catch 80 balls, and with his YPC that could turn a nice year

I had both last year. Was planning on keeping both at various points last year
