Considering we were close with TCU and dropped another close one to South Dakota St on the road, your thoughts on this upcoming season? I think the skill positions are fine, but worried about the trenches. Against New Hampshire, the o line got whipped and we couldn't contain their running qb. If that improves, then I think we are set and should run the table, except Tulane, but I give us a 50/50 shot. Would like to get a top 2 spot that way we host till the ship.

I feel like SLU will run away with the Southland, which is unusual for the conference. Sam Houston lost Flanders and Bell so I think they will drop off a little. McNeese might still be good but it's in Hammond. SLU just has a lot more talent than anyone else this year.

But you never know. Crazy things usually happen in the SLC.

Talked to a lot of ex players that just graduated and they all seem to think we have a really good chance at winning it all.

I'll be in the alumni suite hanging with Kathy Pittman if yall need me

Offense will be just as good if not better. I think the D will be much improved as well. I'm expecting a deep run this year.

I don't know much about div II but I know how well they did last year and reloaded the few positions they lost. Seems like this cat is going after the big time juco players and guaranteeing a start vs them competing for a spot at a dI school. I pray Bennett stays healthy and wins the Walter Payton award. But we will back in the hunt for the ship.

Trenches are deep and loaded on both sides of the ball. Injuries were an issue in the New Hampshire game with the starting center going down the week before and having already lost a couple of guys earlier in the season. Defensive line will be scary good. Each season is a new season but this team should be a lot better than last year across the board.
