Correct I did....what's your point?
As far as SLU's prospects for the season, I think they're pretty good. Bennett should be one of the top QBs in the country this year. They're easily the front-runner for the SLC title with McNeese 2nd and SHSU and UCA behind the Cowboys, IMO.

Agreed. They return too many key players NOT to be in the top 5.

Tell that to the D1-AA/FCS athletes at those schools. The competitiveness and athletic ability at a school that plays in FCS for football is worlds better than actual D-II athletic programs.

Who is your LB? I think he was #1 or #3? IMO, the best player on your defense. Kid was really impressive. Fantastic size as well

Hopefully SLU will have a great season. With all the talk about Bennett and the transfers there was an article in the local paper focusing on how many local players were voted preseason all conference. Three of them specifically being from Tangi parish. All three starting linebackers were voted preseason all conference as well as a 4th linebacker and 3 of the 4 grew up within 25 miles of the campus.

Trenches are deep and loaded on both sides of the ball. Injuries were an issue in the New Hampshire game with the starting center going down the week before and having already lost a couple of guys earlier in the season. Defensive line will be scary good. Each season is a new season but this team should be a lot better than last year across the board.
