Summary:

Team has been doing well. He believes this is the "most fit team" coming back from summer break in his time here at LSU.

The 2014 Recruiting Class had great GPA's coming in. Shows they are great kids overall - in good shape, but realizes they aren't perfect. Recognizes there is a learning curve that comes with the transition from high school to college.

Leonard Fournette: It's sad he has so much pressure coming in. However, he is smart, clean-cut, works hard, trains hard everyday and will be a great tiger.

Highlights how they prevent overheating/cramping by encouraging the players to (at minimum) drink a gallon of water per day, eat well, sleep, and just take care of your body in general.

DT Rundown: Gilmore is in great shape but needs to keep "pads low." Defensive Front is one of the most focused groups we have on the team. Further explains that football is a game of leverage & how he focuses on "force production" and aligning joints therefore they can apply greater force. Moffitt conducts drills that try to teach the players how to most effectively and efficiently apply the most force per play.

D. Hunter vertical jump 38.5-39 inches. Shows he can explode and gain ground on offensive lineman. Ran 21.5 mph this morning (for comparsion the fastest Odell ran in a game was ~21 mph).

He believes this team is one of the best he's ever coached in terms of leadership. They're not just "talkers" but more importantly "do-ers" Recognizes the linebacker core in their leadership efforts.

Malachi Dupre: Vertical 42 inches.
Trey Quinn: Ran 22mph in sprints. Said that Quinn is VERY polished
