If you are going to make comments supporting an organization that calls for the destruction of the country and the mass murder of most of its citizens you should expect repercussions. Freedom of speech is not freedom from repercussions. And as long as those exposing the speech and asking for repercussions are not the government, then that is acceptable in a country with democratic principles. It is simply others using their right to free speech.

You are assuming that all of the Israeli Arabs subscribe to the ways of Hamas, which is not the case. Sympathizing with the Palestinians being slaughtered in Gaza does not equate to supporting Hamas.

So anyone who makes statements criticizing their government's foreign policy should lose their jobs? Should folks like Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul been denied gainful employment in the U.S. after they said that the U.S. brought 9/11 on itself?
