I am with ya on that, once it gets over 4 legs I get uneasy with 8 being the FTS number. Saw two dead in there own webs up in Monterey last weekend. Big arse funnel looking webs, frickers were dead and I still couldn't get close to them. Knew that the female that killed them had to be close. I pity the man that has to get down and the change the tire of the Mule they were all over.

Definite Wolf Spider. I bought a foreclosure last year. Ended upfinding about 10 black widows and a few wolf spiders. Came out one night and found a wolf spider the size of my wifes hand in the hallway by the bathroom. I ahve since run around the house with a shop vac every month or so and sucked up any spiders and webs. Also pressure washing the exterior seems to have killed them on the outside. We also bought a powder that you mix with water. Spray it on. Then when it dries it turns back to powder. Since spiders don't drag their bodies normal pesticides do not work. When they walk through this powder their feet throw it on their body and it kills them. Similar to Seven dust but this stuff is specifically for spiders. This odd issue with snakes and spiders is amusing. I like every other person am willing to kill both but even my kid knows to let Wolf Spiders walk. They kill the bad ones including black widows. I will however remove them grom the interior of the house when possible.

I'm not afraid of spiders, but you could chase me around the block with a fricking lizard.

Goddamn brother used to catch them and hold me down and make those little bastards bite me on the nose. Been terrified of those frickers ever since.

Look at those dusty cob webbed corners... I wouldn't post the picture out of sheer embarrassment.
