What about saying building a statue of Saban - who truly built LSU into something Miles could run - reeks of attention seeking?

If anything, it reeks of common sense.

You really suck at trolling

What's even more crazy, is how people instantly brought up Saban and Bama as their response, as if Tuscaloosa is the only sports arena where a monument exist. This was a thread about Les, not the other guy.
Flame me for a bad idea, no need to mention Bama.

P.S.

I think it just registered,

Maybe people went there because the OP made them think that I wanted the monument made tomorrow morning (meaning we would have a monument of a current coach

P.S.2.
Man I miss seeing Harry Coleman play.

If he got to you, you were going down.
And not just going down, you were going down hard. I was so happy when he moved to LB. I was also really hoping he would have made it with the Saints.

What about just the quote?

I'd settle for that. The words mean more than a actual statue in my opinion.

Though, statues don't bother me one bit, as long as they are well done (obviously)

I was in Michigan recently. The Sparty statue on Michigan State's campus is pretty bad arse. However, I am not sure if Sparty was a real player or fictional character.

My hope is that the former Tigers who will be associated with the SEC network will stand up ike Les did and rebute and refute lies by the Bama guys are sure to do. If every school had someone like Les and Spurrier stand up to those idiotic Gumps, the conference and college football would be much better.

Give'em hell Les, give'em hell.

Only if the monument is a hologram of LSUfreek's Dancing Elvis Miles.

It's actually one of Les Miles' better quotes, despite where it was coming from.

I'd love to see a statue of Les riding bareback on Mike out in front of the stadium.

A tribute to Les Miles will be done at the precise time it is supposed to happen, and in the precise form it is supposed to be. Will be it be a statue? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, it won't come from this website.

So are you hinting at it being a perpetual 3d hologram of Les saying his famous quotes and gentile clapping in between?

In my head, I see that famous military Monument of the guys planting the flag.

Except, its Les, holding back the Tigers in the tunnel.

No matter how big are small, that would be a "nice piece."
