I'm definitely not the person to ask where to stay. I stay in this place called bakery square. I like it because I can get to and from my office in 15 minutes.
I spend a lot of time in this place called waterfront, mostly chain restaurants around here though. I normally go to the strip district and Lawrenceville when I like to have a drink. There is still a lot I haven't experienced yet with the city.

Come further west bud.
I did just go to the waterfront for the first time last weekend. My girl lives north of there. It was ok.
1200$ will get you something decent.
The place I linked is $1300. for a 3 bedroom 3 bath with a 2 car garage.
I need a garage for my toys. Lots of places don't have them.
Paying $500 to live in an old coal town right now.
but house is clean and lots of wildlife. I can walk to a creek and wadefish when it gets hot.
