Perry might excite some of the base but he would get destroyed in a debate. He couldn't even remember his main points in the last debate. If he tries again I'm afraid it will be worse because everyone knows it now and will be doing everything in their power to make him look foolish again.

Palin and W did fine. Debates are probably THE most over-rated thing in a presidential campaign.
