You're going to need to go into the adapter settings and tell us what you have it set to. If it's on manual and you don't have it like that for a specific reason, you'll want to change it to obtain IP address and DNS dynamically. LINK

it was on obtain automatically but one of the fixes I found was to enter in manually but that didn't work. it is back on automatically currently.


to answer previous poster I know how to use a computer that's about it. i'm not very knowledgeable about technical aspects
