"I had a good, long meeting with Les Miles and he was great," Patterson said. "He was telling me that he thought I was a difference maker and he would love to have me at his program. He was just really cool about everything and didn't put any pressure on me.

"In fact, none of the coaches did. Frank Wilson was great as was Cam Cameron. It was a good trip and I'm glad I ended up going."
