that is definitely the best response, not to resist.
But at the same time, death is not an appropriate end point for getting upset at being arrested. Its just not. the cop clearly didn't apply appropriate level of force.
frick him. he should be fired and have his pension taken away. instead, he will get a paid vacation and then back on the job.

Dude was 6'4" and 400 lbs. The ONLY way to bring him down is to apply a choke hold.
I repeat: Cops are not doctors. Do not resist arrest when you are an asthmatic fattie and you probably won't die.
