Don't quit.
I started boxing in junior high back home only because my uncle ran a boxing gym there and it was cheap day care for my folks. However, I still do it living in Houston now and I am 42.
I tried MT at one of the first schools that offered it here on my side of town and I liked it but I also got into jits too. That was 8 years ago and my jits instructor left to open his own place and I went with him and sadly, quit doing MT.
