Steve Gleason's Block:

I was at my Grandmas house. There are five games I've watched there, and all of them are memorable (some good, some bad).

-MNF vs Giants - Joe Horn cell phone
-vs Jax - River City Relay to missed extra point
-Gleason Block - I'm pretty sure I yelled for 5 minutes straight
- 06 NFC Championship game
- 09 second game vs Falcons to go 13-0

Random story:
The 09 Season I watched nearly every game at a buddies house in his parents outdoor kitchen. That's when the Who Dat Corn was invented. My mom made a pork roast and rice and gravy, along with a certain type of cream corn. We beat the shite out of the Lions and I can be superstitious so I made my mom make the same exact thing the following weekend. That went on and on. The Miami game I called to make sure it was made, and it wasn't... we were losing bad, we all remember. She made it just before the end of the first half, and suddenly the Saints woke up. I started to believe. Another weird occurrence with it was during the Redskins game, one of the few games I watched at my moms house. Just before the Redskins were about to make the chip shot field goal to go up by 10 and seal it I noticed the corn didn't have jalapeños like usual. I had to grab some from my neighbors house and put them in, sure enough the guy misses and the Saints go on to win it. The Cowboys game the corn was made at a different location, we lost. Overall our record when my mom makes that is like 30-3 or something ridiculous like that.

NFC Championship Game:
My moms house in my bedroom. I watched the entire game by myself up until overtime due to nerves. Was such an emotional roller coaster, and easily the most stressful game I've ever watched (11 vs 49ers comes close, but ended with me binge drinking myself to sleep). After the kick went through I had tears in my eyes and popped a bottle of champagne. I then drove to Lafayette and had a blast.

Tracy Porter Pick 6:

Was at a Superbowl party at a friends house. I was drunk from drinking so much whiskey and my nerves being bad. After the interception I knew it was game. I ran outside down the street and tackled some other kid running with his friends. I cried like a bitch. I went downtown Lafyette after. It wasn't NOLA crazy, but it was wild. Cars were just stopped in the middle of the street honking the entire time. Everyone was dancing on top of cars. Closest thing to euphoria that I may ever experience.

I'm not sure if anything can ever top that 09 season. That was such an unbelievable ride. Here's to another memorable, Superbowl season.
