What is the specific issue? Joint? Muscle? Nerve? I have back issues too and there is no one shoe that helps. I do find that I can't wear those minimalist shoes with no cushioning. I need a fairly strong support in the heel. Try reputable brands. Don't wear Under Armour shoes ever.

Go to a store like Varsity Sports and have them fit you for a good pair of shoes. Can make all the difference in the world having the correct pair.

Back pain is likely from sitting in a desk. You should strengthen your lower back.

Shoes are just a band-aid. You most likely have a weak back, glues, and hamstrings.

I like Merrills.

Just so they've got good arch support and enough cushion it'll help.

eta:I got bulges at L5-S1,L4-L5,L4-L3,L3-L2.

Like someone else said strengthening your Core is the best thing.
