it easily could be that. just because he tweeted out information about a new show doesnt mean they wont try and drum up viewers for their afternoon show and announce the same damn thing.

Absolutely BR sports talk is better than it was 3-4 years ago. It is better because the likes of Buddy Songy/Jon Fine/Tommy Krysan have virtually disappeared from the airwaves....you have to look real hard just to find them on whatever rickety arse station they are on now.
The difference is that the 104.5 talent is HIRED by the station...unlike the old 1210 where any dickhead in town could pay a monthly fee and get airtime. It has very much professionalized the shows and the product is much better. Yes, the shows sometimes seem like too much of a running commercial...but that is ANY show these days.

The thing is.. Ponamsky wouldn't know about the "major announcement" until it was announced.. if it indeed were the DTV-SECN deal.
