but I can't remember our staff stealing a top 10 recruit out of Alabama.

So?

But I bet you remember taking them out of Florida, Texas, Mississippi, South Carolina......

Who in their right mind would battle Auburn and Bama in AL? What a waste of recruiting budget when we do so well in FL and TX

I feel like we have more trouble in Cali with trying to pry recruits way from USC,UCLA,etc..

Florida State did, and got a Heisman winning QB for their troubles, but I agree, Florida and Texas produce a ton of top prospects. That's where we focus OOS recruiting.

The same two guys that got LSU Jamarcus Russell got FSU Jameis Winston.

But one of those guys is back at Auburn now.

Other than lacy, who has proven to be such a great talented loss?

we can go luther davis, the kid from j.c. that was a safety that kick off for grades, kenny bell. geeze, where would lsu be without this great talent?

I was referring to their lack of football IQ. You must have missed the sentence after, where I stated "They had 12 personal foul penalties in our game."

ETA: Ever heard the saying "that was a dumb penalty"? Because they had a dozen of them.

Considering two of those players are currently back in their home towns sowing hatred for LSU and love for Alabama currently, we would be in a better recruiting position had they not gone to Alabama.

You may even be so inclined to call them POSes because of their actions and news that has come out about them. But when you do call them that, remember what kind of person it takes to insert themselves into the recruiting process of a kid for their own personal gain. That's right, a POS.

Buzz Kill Betty is here^^^

In all seriousness, it stings a little to have Carter committ to the gumps, but we have a few other prospects available at corner. I would gladly let them have Carter if we land Broussard.

Totally agree, and to be clear, I'm not embarrassed about the commitment ... but that's no longer what this thread is about.

All the negatigers had to have something to jump on today. The sky is in fact falling.

Just wait till Friday if Mac Marshall signs with the Astros. Different sport, but will still be a shite show if it goes down hahaha Praying it doesnt occur though.
