Why not? It should be their best team in years. We have huge question marks at QB and DT.

LSU returns 12 starters, Alabama returns 12 starters.
LSU will be breaking in a new QB, Alabama will be breaking in a new QB.
There isn't a drastic difference in the difficulty of the schedules. 'Bama returns just 1 starter in their secondary.
Yet, everyone has Alabama winning the SEC and making it into the playoffs, while no one seems to give LSU a chance.
It's either a lack of respect for the program, the belief that we simply lack the talent that Alabama has, or both.
