I don't think the word profit is evil. Quite the opposite, I understand you have to make money on the deal, but I'm not going to voluntarily pay more than I want or should to help your bottom line.

I'm trying to get the best deal I can, and you're trying to make as much money as you can, I can understand that. I was searching for a deal that I knew I could get, and I found it. The other dealership could have easily given me that deal, and I'd have used them for servicing. But they didn't sell me a vehicle, and now I won't service with them because of the experience I had. I will now also tell everyone looking to buy a vehicle that they shouldn't deal with them.

If you don't like the car dealership model, go work in a different industry.

I love the model, when both sides understand it. But when you get these "experts" who read information on a third party site who try dictate every move...anyone would be annoyed.

But...great for you. That's what our economy is all about. You spend YOUR money where YOU want.
