MSB thoughts on the Odyssey Prototype tour series 7 putter. I'm looking to decide on this or the Versa 330 Mallet. It's more like a half mallet style is the one i'm looking for it looks better to my eye. Then saw the Prototypes and tried it out pretty smooth. IRL i'm between a 3-5 HC on the OT i'm a plus 2! Had ACL surgery in April so havent been released for full swings yet but def starting off with a new putter. Thx

It's Protype, not Prototype

And I have rolled the #7 and it feels real nice, but hated the 2 sight lines on the flange.

Both are good putters. If this is the style you like I'd also look at the Rife Abaco. It has less of a pointed toe and a longer flange, not to mention roll grooves and a softer feel than any other putter I've hit without an insert. I have two of them and would have a hard time going back to anything other than a Rife. I bought the Protype 2-ball blade and a Scotty Squareback 2 and got rid of them both

I have the versa 330.

You'll end up needing some lead tape for it. It's kind of light.
