Too be fair the HR derby is an event geared towards kids. I don't know about y'all but I rarely watch the whole thing since it gets old after a few minutes watching the same thing over and over, but I used to watch the shite out of it when I was a kid and get really impressed with their long HRs.

And for little kids hearing a dude yell BAcK BACK BAKBAKBAKBAKBAK GONE!!!! can be exciting
