I am a frugal bastard so going to the movies is never near the top of my list of things I want to do. I'd rather pay $1 for a redbox than $20-$25 at the movies

Yeah I agree. Outside of the $5 special at AMC, I don't go to the show unless it's something I really want to see on the big screen. For instance, I always go see the Marvel movies.
